Robin Hood Themed Party (Using Items From The House!):
To Celebrate the 1 Year Anniversary of adopting Solo, we decided to have a Robin Hood Themed Party (because he looks like that cute little Fox!)
Using ONLY things we had in the house, we came up with cute costumes + treats in about an hour!

Getting the kids involved is key to keeping them busy and staying SANE!

COSTUMES
This is where we got really creative! Everything we used - we already had.
If you can see the table cloth above, that is what we used for the boys' "shirts"! I used gold washi tape to make "X" patterns down the front. With the remaining table cloth, I put it along the sides of the table.
Table Cloth: From Target, $2/ Washi Tape: From Target, $2
My Dress/Ryan's Dress! Both of these were actually from Target also (SHOCKER)! My dress is actually in stores now, $12. Ryan is actually wearing another one of my dresses as a cap and also my shorts. Solo's costume was from Amazon! ($12)
CUPCAKES
These Cupcakes were SO GOOD! See below for 2 Ingredient LOW CAL cupcake recipe!
*Buttercream Frosting is definitely NOT LOW CAL!

Two Ingredient Cake + Simple Buttercream Frosting:
~Since I had limited items in my pantry, I needed to use what I had! Luckily, I remembered the Diet Coke Cake Recipe (which can be EASILY swapped out with any can of soda!) I used SPRITE + YELLOW CAKE MIX!
~For the icing, I used basic ingredients to make a YUMMY buttercream!

HOPE YOU ENJOYED!
I look forward to adding new things for you guys to check out and hopefully get inspired to do at home! STAY WELL. XO JOLENE
